JACK VS. THE STRAWBERRY!

Jack Surrendered! The strawberry won.

We have one of those mesh bags that you can put food in. Jack can try all sorts of fruits and veggies and we don't have to worry about him choking. Very messy!

Happy birthday Daddy!

For Chris' Birthday we surprised him with Tiger tickets. It was a lot of fun. The tigers won (19-6.) We had a blast!

No quick movements tiger....I'm watching you.
At the game we got Jessica a hot dog. She was just eating the bun, so we keep saying, "come on Jessica, eat your hot dog." Well she saw Paw and she wanted to go see him. We were surprised since Jess is not a big fan of mascots. Well, we were like, okay. As we got closer she went berserk, clearly having changed her mind. She screamed, "I'll eat my hot dog, I'll eat my hot dog!" It was really funny and everyone had a good laugh.

My Sweets

We went to Dodge Park the other day to feed the ducks, and play. We had a lot of fun. Man, some of those geese are really big. The Jack Man had fun on the swings.

This is a doll house we got from someone. Jessica loves it. I haven't sanitized it yet so that's why it is still in the garage. That and it has a million little pieces not quite sure I want that in the house. It's only a matter of time I step on one of those pieces and hurt my foot. Jessica likes to pile everyone in the van. She was scooting it down the driveway and lost a couple of passengers. She exclaimed, "Oh NO, the baby fell out!"

This outfit is brought to you by Jessica. She has this dress from a garage sale. I think it is an old recital dress. She loves it. Every time I turn around she has stripped off the clothes I put her in, and is wearing the dress. It doesn't look so bad because she is wearing a jacket. Underneath is this really gaudy cowboy material with fringe. It's pretty awesome.

TAKE LUCK

Listen first! Brian Regan-YOU TOO! then you will appreciate the story.

I had a classic "you too" moment. Chris and I went away to a spa a few weekends ago. When we were leaving the girl said, "I hope you enjoy the rest of your stay." Before I could even stop myself I said, "You too."........... You know in case you ever stay here, I hope your stay is good too. TAKE LUCK! TAKE CARE OF YOUR LUCK! HEHE Chris and I laughed the whole way back to our room.

BRINGING YOU DETROITS BEST!!!!

I just saw this on the news. It is pretty much the funniest thing I have seen all week! Starts off boring but gets good at .55 seconds and 2:45. I am pretty much speechless well besides the giggles. Go Detroit City Council!

Q and A

Well my sister "tagged" me with questions I am suppose to answer. I will comply for a lack of anything else to blog about. It seems a bit narcissistic to me but here it goes.

FOUR JOBS I'VE HAD-
1. Server at a Chinese restaurant. I was the only non Chinese speaking Caucasian. It was really bad. I swear they would talk about me when I was there. In fact I am pretty sure since they would say something, and then they would all look at me.

2.Harmony House, music store- Have you ever seen Empire Records the movie? Yeah, I kid you not it was just like that! Well minus Rex Manning. We didn't do much expect sit around and talk. Every once in a while a costumer would ask for help. The best was when they would sing or hum part of the song they were looking for. I would pretend not to understand so they would keep singing. It was funny. It was the perfect high school job.

3.Bank Teller-This was what I did well Chris was finishing his masters. It was a means to and end. Seeing that much money was crazy at first then you get desensitized. Little something I bet you didn't know, Bank errors happen. You don't have to give the money back. They will say you do and will say things to intimidate you, but that's about all. It happened to me. I accidentally transposed numbers and put 300 in the wrong account. The guy took is and spent it. Sucks to be me.

4. Library Assistant- It is about as exciting as it sounds.

FOUR PLACES I HAVE LIVED-
1.Sterling Heights, MI
2.Ann Arbor, MI
3.Back to Sterling Heights
4. Clinton Township, MI

FOUR PEOPLE WHO EMAIL ME REGULARLY-
1.Orbitz
2.My Family.com
3.Hancock Fabric
4.Costco
I get a lot of junk mail.

FOUR OF MY FAVORITE FOODS-
1. Kit Kat Bars
2. Diet Coke (I know it's a drink)
3. Samoa (sp?) girl scout cookies
4. Blakes Orchard fresh doughnuts

FOUR PLACES I'D RATHER BE RIGHT NOW-
1. The beach
2. The beach
3. The beach
4. The beach

FOUR THINGS I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO-
1. Being a millionaire
2. Finishing School
3. Summer
4. My whole family getting together this summer

FOUR PEOPLE I TAG.....NONE. Though if you want to answer the question you should. Plus it would be interesting to hear what you have to say.

I would like to be in bed. Jack had other ideas. He is in the midst of getting his first tooth and determined not to sleep tonight. Thinking back to Elder Ballard’s talk…..This feels like a lot more than 1/10th. Well at least jack is content to roll around while I mess with the computer.

Pictures of Tom and Jessica goofing around at the school playground.

While we were at the playground we witnessed the ultimate Jr. High third wheel. It completely made my day. It was classic… Meeting at the playground, because you have no where else to go, the awkward embrace that never ends, and the all too important 3rd wheel best friend. I had to sneak a picture. The third wheel is swinging.

"Daddy's song"

For whatever reason Jessica has dubbed this "daddy's song." It is the Gnarls Barkley song.

Just call me a lemming!

Okay, I am staggered by the amount of bloggers out there. Not wanting to be left out or not have the chance to share pictures of my cute kids I join the masses.

Things that concern me about a blog......

I don't want people to know how truly boring my life is.
I don't want people to know how much time I have on my hands and how much of it I waste.
I can't really imagine that people would be interested in our lives.
I have atrocious grammar.
I will spend too much time trying to be funny and witty which will probably fail.

All concerns aside, here is the life of the Evans'. I will try to keep you entertained and awake.
